Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

- A Master’s degree in Environmental, Health and Safety Management or Sustainable Industrial Systems is considered an advantage.

- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position.

- Advanced English language proficiency.

- Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Inspector Certificate/Diploma (minimum 80-hour training course).

- Internal Auditor Certificate/Diploma for ISO 14001.

- Internal Auditor Certificate/Diploma for ISO 45001.

Job responsibilities:

- Ensure that the EHS management system conforms to corporate EHS MS requirements, as well as last versions of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 Standards & Report on the performance of the EHS MS management system and environmental sustainability at local and corporate level.

- Develops and updates emergency and disaster response plans, as well as safety procedures.

- Prepares and submits periodic environmental reports and declarations to the Environmental Fund Administration (AFM), ensuring compliance with all applicable monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements.

- Establish, implement and follow up the EHS Management plan in coordination with all processes considering applicable requirements.

- Monitor & communicate applicable EHS legal requirements & other requirements and implement the EHS Monitoring process while ensuring compliance.

- Ensure the identification, evaluation and management of environmental aspects & OH&S hazards in coordination with concerned departments while supporting them in the identification of adequate control measures for OHS hazards & environmental aspects associated with their activities.

- Enforce respect of EHS operational criteria while ensuring effective emergency preparedness through Communication of emergency plan, establish & follow up the simulation plan).

- Support concerned processes in the analysis of EHS incidents and deviations issued following 3rd parties' Inspections, EHS System audits & EHS inspections. Technical staff with responsibilities in the field of fire prevention, control, monitoring, and response (Fire Prevention and Suppression Officer / Fire Prevention and Suppression Technical Officer). Ensure periodic inspection and monitoring of firefighting and emergency equipment and maintain related records. - Support concerned departments in the management of contractors activities (Identification of required documentation, Risk analysis, validation of permit to work system…etc).

- Monitor performance and compliance of EHS service providers and external contractors. Ensure proper waste management processes, including waste segregation, storage, record keeping and coordination with authorized waste contractors.

- Support in the Identification of EHS Training needs & manage EHS internal trainings.

- Establish and follow up Workers' consultation and participation program & Promote proactive EHS culture in the organization. Actively participates, as a member of the Occupational Health and Safety Committee (OHSC), in periodic meetings, contributing to the analysis and improvement of working conditions.

- Ensure plant GHG emission & CFP data collection & reporting. Lead, coach and develop EHS team members, ensuring achievement of departmental objectives and compliance with company policies.

- Comply with the Quality and EHS Systems requirements. Complies with corporate values, code of conducts and non disclosure agreement.
