As Plant Financial Controller, you will combine planning, reporting and analysis with direct business partnering across Operations, Logistics, Purchasing and support functions. Your insights will help local and global management improve cost performance, evaluate investments and make well-founded decisions.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced plant financial controller who is passionate about Finance and Controlling and wants to influence decisions in an international industrial environment. You will gain broad exposure to plant management and collaborate with all relevant functions. Through your analyses and recommendations, you will directly support local and global management decisions related to investments, products, hiring and spending.

JOB MAIN Tasks:

The position combines recurring responsibilities, such as closing, reporting and planning, with less structured tasks requiring independent analysis, individual judgement and cross-functional alignment.

• You will act as the dedicated Controlling Business Partner for functions such as Operations, Logistics, Purchasing, IT, HR and Administration, translating financial information into actionable insights and supporting sound business decisions:

-Contribute to monthly closing and prepare reporting for local and global management

-Support Annual planning and forecasting of the department

-Analyse cost centers, product costs, inventories and operational KPIs, explain deviations from plan and forecast, and work with business partners to identify corrective actions

-Project Controlling & Budget tracking

-Evaluate investments through ROI and MoB calculations and prepare clear decision proposals for local and global management;

• Use modern tools such as Power BI, Power Platform and AI-enabled solutions to simplify processes, reporting, improve transparency and strengthen decision support

Ideal candidate

• >7 years of experience in financial operations, with at least 3 years dedicated to plant controlling within a complex industrial environment

• Collaborative, people-oriented approach, with the ability to build trusted relationships and work effectively across functions

• University degree in Accounting or Finance related field

• Advanced written & spoken English; German is a plus

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS office tools

• Practical experience using SAP in a Finance or Controlling environment

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to translate complex financial information into clear recommendations
