LEGAL COUNSEL (m/f)

Location: Bucharest, Romania | Full-time | Employment contract for an indefinite period

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, contracts and other legal documents.

• Provide practical legal advice to management and business teams on commercial, corporate and company law matters.

• Identify legal and business risks and recommend clear, practical solutions.

• Support the company in ensuring legal and regulatory compliance, including GDPR and data protection matters.

• Monitor relevant changes in legislation and assess their potential impact on the business.

• Coordinate and manage external lawyers and legal advisors when required.

• Work closely with management and other departments on a broad range of legal and business matters.

• Take ownership of assigned legal areas.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• University degree in Law (licență în drept or equivalent).

• Relevant professional experience as a lawyer or in-house legal adviser (consilier juridic), preferably in an in-house legal, commercial or corporate environment.

• Good knowledge of Romanian commercial and corporate legislation.

• Native Romanian and strong written and spoken English.

• Ability to work independently.

• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

• Previous experience in an international company or with cross-border legal matters is an advantage.

• Valid category B driving licence (required for business travel to dealers and partners in Romania).
